The Blog Hit Robots

They are still out there though in Town Dancer and Oahu And Beyond they are no longer in the top three. That gives me a better idea of the relative hits and it looks good. With the other blogs, one of the robots, (from Russia, I think) is still doing whatever damage it can do. Neither Blogger nor Google know what to do about them.

"Jumping at several opportunities may get us there more quickly than waiting for one big one to come along."

The new blog in town, Dancer - West seems to be doing all right but does not have a counter yet. It is not a Blogger nor Word Press. It is a newer blog from It is free but they do hustle you to upgrade and that costs money. And you cannot do half as much as you can with Blogger. But the more blogs the merrier, we may end up with maybe twenty blogs covering the entire Island Chain.

If they can develop into independent identities but loosely interconnected, they can provide all the dance information needed by these islands. Contributed photos, contributed information and addition guest authors. That will be social media to da max and beat anything else you have to offer the reader/dancers.

Oahu - West is the one to watch. It is waking up now that we have added Dance Hawaii back into to the Dance Review. Perhaps we can continue and include other. With one Guest Author it would go 67 average hits per day, equivalent to 2000 per month. Then it would be rolling in the right direction. The reader/dancers are there we just have to make contact.

Pub's Side Note: "In Hawaii, dance blogs are enabling hundreds of dancers to express their opinions with reduced political risk simply because of the sheer number of like-minded opinions online. Facing these independent voices, the old clique machine starts to crumble."
