The West not looking so good,

The Rail Mess is goofing everything up. Many new plans have been put on hold. Though efforts are still being made to get the first Industrial Park in the Waipahu - Kapolei sector. Schools are raising their rates. Food prices are already going up. No hu - hu, the legislators are thinking of giving themselves a raise. Naturally, the new political machine has taken over.

"People's best successes come after their disappointments."

Fortunately, Line dancing and Zumba are still going strong in the West. Now we gotta get a little more action in our type of social dance. We have to rustle the bushes for Line dancing because that is a very natural beginning to partner dancing. The music is identical and the name of the dances are almost all identical to cultural partner dancing. Rumba, Cha Cha Cha, Waltz, etc.

The locations must be found even if only in malls since school cafeterias are pricing themselves out of the market. There are some looking at portable dance floors to set down on a park, with permission of course. They have to pay for the Rail Tragedy too, so it will be tough. And for sure it is going to get worse, we are talking about billions and billions of dollars in pure profits by somebody.

The present commercial places may do it  but the difficulty of paying for the Rail Fiasco remains. Ige's 19th Puka is still there. So is the Fleet Lounge. The Dance Pavilion in Waipio looks deader than a door nail, but no one wants to admit anything. Mum's the word. We may know something in a couple months. In the Council, Ann Kobayashi seems to be the only one that knows anything.

Pub's Side Note: Ordinary Communication Media is to whom it may concern, one way, newsletters, email flyers, web sites. They do their job but nuttin' like a blog.
