"The preservation of the sacred fire of liberty and the destiny
of the republican model of government are justly considered... deeply, ...finally, staked on the experiment entrusted to the
hands of the American people." ~George Washington
Industrial Park just north of the freeway in Ewa, voted down by the Rail Tragedy people. Thousands less cars on the freeway to and from town, less traffic in town. But the Big Bucks rule.
No one inquired of the users or the bus drivers. All decisions were made in the Ivory Towers. And the rules were by hook or by crook. The Federal Transit Authority was never convinced, but there was some arm twisting by the Senate and politics was heavily involved. This entire state has lost but not many are aware of our fate yet.
It was built because of their Rail Party. But the scarcity of
riders was evident. The sales of cars boomed even with the
bad traffic. So they tore it down. How long do we have to
wait before we tear ours down too?
