Tough and Easy

It very tough going for Kapolei, when the Present Rail Party decided they were not going to be "second city." They had thought they would live, work and play in a Paradise of their very own. Wrong Manong! Then came the blunder of the Rail Disaster.

The neighborhood board, of Makakilo, Kapolei and Honokai Hale has voted in Resolution that the Rail Crisis is detrimental to the community. They have some very knowledgeable people on that board and cannot be bought by the Present Rail Party. Anyway, we do come across some good news now and then. It could be so Easy.

Introducing Kapolei Pacific Center, the new metropolitan mix-use office and retail lifestyle center designed to provide the very best aspects of a contemporary workforce environment atop Kapolei’s newest landmark shopping venue complete with gourmet dining, designer boutiques, and business-oriented services - all in a dynamic urban setting.

Unprecedented in concept and inspired in every detail, Kapolei Pacific Center offers a unique office & retail destination that is, quite literally, like nowhere else. How about a deluxe Dance Studio and weekend Night Club? And unlike so much else in Kapolei, more than one story high, Paradise coming right up.

With a good bus service from Waianae, Waipahu and Ewa Beach, Kapolei
coulda been a real contendah as second city and no need for billions in a
Rail Catastrophe. And thousands could avoid that Honolulu
Mess they have constructed for themselves over there.
Yes, we understand, the millions and millions of dollars in the gravy train Dilemma by the Present Rail Party surmounts the good of the people. "I coulda got the bus right around the corner where I always got it" and if I worked nearby, "I coulda been home in 20 minutes."  But, it's the bread, Fred. Those mainlanders are going to bleed us for all they can get.
