A smile costs nothing, but it gives much. It enriches those who receive, without making poorer those who give it. Sometimes it lasts forever.
None is so rich or mighty that they can get along without it. A smile creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in business and is a countersign of friendship throughout the world.
It brings rest to the weary, cheer to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad and it is nature's antidote for trouble. Yet it cannot be bought, borrowed or stolen for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away.
Some people are too tired to give you a smile. Give them one of yours, as no one needs a smile so much as one who has none to give."

Wendy Johnson: An Honest Opinion
Q: How about judging?
A: We have to mark someone first and someone sixth, but very often there isn't much between those places. The person we mark first thinks we love him, and sixth, that we hate him.We might have hated all of them or we might have loved all of them, but we had to mark first through sixth. That's why you see marks so scattered. There's very little difference, sometimes only an opinion. And that is all we can do.
