Da New One

Wow, this blog is just doing wonders. I can't believe it. I got rid of a lot of the scam spam hits and a few are still there but more or less it is Dancing in Hawaii. The Waianae Coast is just fine and so is the right side of the Horseshoe going up through Wahiawa and all the way to the North Shore. Just need a little more news from all these terrific dance places. Let us have it.

"The city of Honolulu has evolved into a place where you spend more than you make,
in things you don't really need, to impress people you don't like."

There seems to be a hellavah lot of new interest in Social Dancing in the West. Specially because of the Rail Catastrophe. They have made it imperative to have Second City in Kapolei and perhaps Third City in the Waianae Coast. Not new housing but the industrial parks. Just a couple with 5000 employees would mean 5000 less cars on the freeways to and from Honolulu and another 5000 missing from downtown traffic. And I coulda been home in 20 minutes. Yes, we all know they want to keep it a big secret. The Present Rail Party is known for its honesty. Bunch of crooks.

There are over 600 documented step patterns in Cha Cha Cha alone. What about Rumba? The Mayan Civilization in Mexico had over 2500 different dances 2000 years ago. It is possible that all the movements are related to each other? You'd better believe it. Most of what we dance for fun are simple natural step patterns. In the disciplines you have the complex unnatural step patterns for a reason. You can guess why. The present evolving social dancer will steer clear of those and dance for fun. We are still Dancing in Hawaii.

“Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all.”

Pub's Side Note: Fortunately, I am meeting more people that have good speakers on their computers. With some good speakers you can play music that may sound better than your high class stereos. Or a good set of Earphones. I can give them some of my music on USB.
