Wahiawa looks better all the time and even is looking to be the center of Central Valley entertainment. Now with a couple good information contributors from that crowd, we could get more information to share. Wow! I personally invite anyone in the club to email me the info and I shall publish in your name. Photos are gravy. It just has to go in your name. Or you can use a pen name if you prefer. I use Pepe which is the ancient Spanish name for Joe.

Tango: Now we have on the mainland a new Tango fusion, the Foxtantino that connects the American styles of Foxtrot to Argentine Tango. This dance was designed specifically for the young social dance community. It uses the teaching methods, technique and language of the social dances so Foxtantino is easy for social dancers to learn and dance with each other. Even if seems to be stalled on the Mainland.
"Young At Heart" by Frank Sinatra
Social dancers have been intrigued and fascinated with Argentine Tango, but, many do not want to give up their dance frame, their dance culture and/or acquire new music appreciation skills and fully enter into the Argentine Tango community. On Oahu, it may be based on the Filipino Tango first and then Foxtantino would provide social dancers the fun and excitement of Argentine Tango while keeping to the style of dancing with which they are familiar. Keep an open mind on it.
My personal view is that we do not need another version of the tango.
So, what do I know?
