West Oahu?

This blog moving along very nicely. And when that new club in Kapolei forms we are here to help the dancers. HBDA has two chapters but we do not hear much from them. Of course, they probably have their own Web sites. What do they need with a Blog site? Pearlridge is doing just fine. Wahiawa Dance Club has got control of the Central Valley and doing very well.

"Change will not come if we wait for some other person or
if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we are
waiting for, we are the change that we seek."

There is Waikele and Waipio just asking for a dance club. The bets are all off on the Dance Pavilion at the Patsy Mink Recreation Center. Gotta pay for the Rail Catastrophe. Millions and millions of dollars in profits. The ex head of HART, resigned and left as a new multi-millionaire. Told everyone on the Mainland, Hawaii is easy as pie, just like taking candy from a baby.

We congratulate all those going to the Aloha Ball on the Big Island. More dance clubs on the Big Island and you are going to meet a lot of good people there, many coming from the Mainland. It will be an enjoyable trip for everyone.

Kapolei is looking better for a new Nightclub. What makes a nightclub. According to most, it is the creation of a dance floor. However, social dancers know that a ten by ten floor is not a dance floor. One of those owners is going to recognize that before he builds. And he must take into consideration that dancers are not booze hounds. They drink moderately, so the income must be shifted over to some thing else. Food? Why didn't I think of that?

When you have a chance, look into the Dance Fever Oahu web site or any of Frank's blogs and you will be sure to come across dance information not available to us.
