Trains

The Train tragedies continue, in Europe too.

Last year Amtrak had promised that it wouldn't happen again. Now they say they have restored service on derailment-damaged tracks at New York's Penn Station. Commuters on New Jersey Transit and the Long Island Rail Road had been urged to allow for extra travel time. They canceled 10 trains into Manhattan for Friday's morning rush hour and terminated four others at stations in Queens because Amtrak crews had not finished track work by 4 a.m., as promised. Amtrak said at 7:30 a.m. that testing and inspections were completed. However, New Jersey Transit said there was still some work being done and its customers "may experience some delays."

In China five years ago, after they had promised that it couldn't happen again. Good thing it did not fall on a lot of  people. It is nice that we are getting more places in West Oahu to dance instead of going to town. The central valley is doing just fine. One additional social dance club on the Waianae Coast would do it. We can leave the Rail Catastrophe to someone else and we can keep away from Kam Highway.

Beautiful Business Park to be built in Waikele. Voted down by the Present Rail Party. They want everybody working downtown and using the Rail Disaster. Big, Big Bucks there. It's the bread, Fred. And "I coulda been home in 20 minutes."
