Wahiawa

So it is Wahiawa Ballroom Dance Club leading the way in the Central Valley and all dancers are invited. They will have their monthly Social - St. Patrick's Day Dance on Saturday, March 17th. They still have ballroom dance classes on Monday nights and line dancing classes on Wednesday evenings at the Wahiawa Recreation Center.

Now Maile has sent me the first announcement for the coming Anniversary dance.

The night club scene involves Dot's In Wahiawa and Just Tacos in Mililani. We have heard rumors of Waikele and Waipio, but nothing solid. That would really make the Central Valley, the dance center of West Oahu. Of course, the Waianae Coast and the North Shore remain wide open. Patience, it is coming. The Rail Tragedy has caused everyone in West Oahu to think getting to Honolulu is much too difficult. We can live, work and play in our own kuleanas.

it just might be a freight train coming your way."
